Back to Basics for Sunfish World Championship Speed
was created by Dayton Colie and David Loring

David Loring and Dayton Colie grew up sailing together on Lake Murray in Irmo,
S.C. They won the Y-Flyer Junior National Championships in 1991.

David Loring has gone on to win the Laser North Americans. He has also won
the Sunfish World Championships - Twice! David is generally regarded as one of
the best small boat sailors in the world.

Dayton Colie bought a Sunfish after David won his second World Championship in
the Fall of 2006. The Sunfish was an obvious choice due to its cost, competitive
local fleet, fun factor, and of course, beach to bar time. He has raced other boats
for most of his life, but never owned a Sunfish. He called David for help (who
better than a two time world champ?) and they made this video.
